Some folks believe the Sportster® is an entry-level motorcycle. They should think again. In 1957, the most popular and sought after touring motorcycle was the Harley-Davidson® Sportster®, and it was widely considered to be the very best in its league. Its been used for over 50 years as a touring bike, a racing bike, a cruiser and a drag bike. Its multi-purpose and varied uses have kept it in production for a long time; not something a manufacturer usually does with an “entry” model. Ten years ago, basic Sportsters® were crude machines that looked great but felt like pigs. Modern versions retain the aesthetics, but while the bike still looks as if it might have been ridden to a Doors concert, its machinery is as modern as every other bike on the road. Dallas Harley-Davidson has a great selection of both new and used Sportsters® …although, none from 1957.
(By the way...this makes a great graduation gift, too...especially for those heading off to college. No parking fees! In some cases the bike will pay for itself a long time before the tuition does!)

Are you trying to find us? Here are directions:
From DFW Airport: Take 635 East to the Centerville/Ferguson Road Exit. Turn left (heading north) and get in the far right lane. Turn right inbetween the Wendy's and the AutoZone, and drive back in to the parking lot!
From Downtown and Western areas: Take I-30 east to 635North, then take the exit for Centerville/Ferguson Road. Stay in the right hand lane, and turn right inbetween the Wendy's and the AutoZone, and drive back in to the parking lot!
From Plano/Richardson/North Dallas/Carrollton: Get to 635 by whichever means is best for you (Central Expressway heading South, Dallas North Tollway south, 35 South), then Take 635 East to the Centerville/Ferguson Road Exit. Turn left (heading north) and get in the far right lane. Turn right inbetween the Wendy's and the AutoZone, and drive back in to the parking lot!
